The Singapore University of Technology and Design is the fourth university in Singapore, and the second (after the National University of Singapore) to offer a tertiary course in architectural education. In this feature, Thomas Schroepfer, Associate Professor of Architecture and Sustainable Design at SUTD, and team design a series of installations on campus – pavilions at the main lobby – and in the process address issues of materiality, customization, and assembly in the act of “making.”
