Professor Thomas Schroepfer will be giving a keynote speech titled “Architecture as Urban Ecosystem” at the upcoming Shaping the City conference organised by the European Cultural Centre at the Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice, Italy on 13 October 2018.

In occasion of the Exhibition “Time-Space-Existence”, the European Cultural Centre is organizing its first conference under the title of: “Shaping the City: A Forum for Sustainable Cities and Communities” . It will include many architectural schools and universities from across the globe presented in TSE 2018 along with other international institutions and architecture studios. The conference is to be held over 2 days on the 12th and 13th of October 2018 in the prestigious auditorium of Fondazione Querini Stampalia in the heart of Venice with a lineup of speakers, panels, and other participants and guests.

The conference aims to inspire the next frontier of research focused on the structure of cities, culture for sustainability, resilience, livable communities, and architectural developments and advancements. This forum is conceived to exchange about the urban future of cities from universities, practitioners, architects, and others. “Shaping the City”: A place where city changers meet and network with other passionate, innovative, inspiring professionals and researchers.
