AAL received a World Architecture Festival 2016 High Commendation for the ‘The Future of Us’ Exhibition Pavilion at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore.
WAF 2016 took place 16-18 November in Berlin, Germany. The gateway to global, WAF is where the world architecture community meets to celebrate, learn, exchange and be inspired. It is the only architecture event where keynote talks from the industry’s most influential figures sit alongside live critique presentations and judging of over 400 award finalists from around the world, global networking, a 400 project strong gallery and an international product exhibition.
WAF 2016 featured 16 award finalists from Singapore out of which 4 (SUTD Advanced Architecture Laboratory for ‘The Future of Us’ Exhibition Pavilion, Spark Architects for Beach Hut, studioMilou with CPG for the National Gallery Singapore and WOHA for Kampung Admiralty) received the prestigious WAF recognitions.
